I've just upgraded the forums to version 3.0.7 of the phpBB software.
Included in these changes was a new 'Quick Reply' feature.
If you are reading a thread, you can now click the quick reply feature and write a response in a 'dumbed down' version of the reply functionality.
It's relatively handy in my opinion.

If you omit the - you'll get a nasty graphical one
