I hate that Doritos one with the chip thats like a spaceship hovering over a city.

And it was apparently voted the best one. The rest must have been diabolical

Funny you should say that, it was an online competition, you can still see the vids on there.

The guy who came second/third is from Chesterfield, you can see Queen's Park at one point in his filming.

I hate any advert that says LASTS UP TO (example) 6 HOURS. It could only last ten minutes.

Saw another one earlier. Now this one made me want to reach in the telly and kick the crap out of everyone in it. Add that to the fact its for 'we buy any car dot com...we buy any car dot com...'

Its fairly new so not on youtube yet but look out for it, its the one at the barbeque.

There seems to be a growing trend to mute the TV whilst ads are shown. (I do the very same whilst footy is on/discussed etc) The ad that gets my vote as the most ridiculous is for Vanish, where the same amount of, is used in a bowl of water, as is used in a fully-loaded washing mc.

I once inadvertently showered and used a bar of Vanish that I mistook for soap - my wife reported me missing! :eeek: :lol2:

Adverts that claim that their commodity will do something or other x% more. Like the one for mascara, - up to x% more volume. x% more volume than what? The manufacturers know that some people will complete the clam for them. And some people do just that.

Have you watched those adverts very carefully recently. They have had to start admitting in the small print that in fact the 'after' lashes are false and have been enhanced by computer in post production. Or in other words you can't get yours as good as the ones in the ads!!
